1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jeddah Ports platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Nature of the Service

Jeddah Ports is a maritime intelligence platform that aggregates and presents:

AIS-sourced vessel position and voyage data
Port call schedules from public and commercial data sources
Maritime news aggregated from publicly available sources
Shipping line and carrier information
Port infrastructure data for the Port of Jeddah (Jeddah Islamic Port)

The Service is provided as a convenience tool. It is not an official port authority service, terminal operator service, or navigation aid.

3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

We aggregate data from multiple third-party sources including AIS networks, terminal portals, and carrier feeds. While we strive for accuracy:

ETA, berth assignments, and vessel positions may be delayed, approximate, or incorrect.
Schedules are subject to change without notice by carriers or port authorities.
AIS positions reflect the last received broadcast, which may be hours or days old for some vessels.
We do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data.

Always verify critical information directly with the relevant carrier, terminal operator (RSGT, DP World), or Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) before making business or operational decisions.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Navigate vessels or make safety-critical maritime decisions
Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy data without written permission
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the data without authorization
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying data APIs
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
Violate any applicable law or regulation

5. Intellectual Property

The Jeddah Ports platform, including its design, code, and original content, is the property of SCRAMBLE LABS. Third-party data (AIS data, carrier names, vessel information, news articles) remains the property of their respective owners.

You may share links to the Service but may not reproduce significant portions of the data or interface without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jeddah Ports and SCRAMBLE LABS shall not be liable for any:

Loss of business, revenue, or profit arising from reliance on data
Vessel delays, missed connections, or logistics disruptions
Decisions made based on inaccurate, delayed, or missing data
Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages of any kind

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide continuous availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control (including third-party data source outages). We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

8. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to external websites (MarineTraffic, VesselFinder, carrier websites, news sources). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these sites.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever changes are made.
